2017 Honda CR-V - No beep with lane departure

Hi guys, I just got a new Honda CRV EXL, I noticed with the lane departure warning there is a alert that shows up on my screen, but no beep? I am wondering why other people hear a beep and I don't? I looked through the settings and could not find a way to change this?

The audible warning might be turned off. Instructions for changing the settings can be found here.

Lane Departure doesn't give a beep - just steering-wheel shaking, a warning on the dash, and, if needed, mild braking. See page 482 in the large owner's manual.

Still not getting any beep, except for blind spot.

Road departure mitigation: "If the system operates several times without detecting driver response, the system beeps to alert you" (pg 482). For me, no beep, just lane departure warning in dash and steering wheel movements.

LKAS: "Provides steering input to help keep the vehicle in the middle of a detected lane and provides tactile and visual alerts if the vehicle is detected drifting out of its lane" (pg 26), so maybe there is not supposed to be a beep. But then on page 486 says "Provides steering input to help keep the vehicle in the middle of a detected lane and
provides AUDIBLE and visual alerts if the vehicle is detected drifting out of its lane." NO audible alert

Driver attention monitor: Can set to tactile and audible (pg 364), but still have not gotten it to beep on testing with "tactile and audible alert" selected.

Your original post talked about Lane Departure, which has no beep. If you aren't getting the other beeps, it's time to talk to the selling dealer's service department. Beep levels can be set up - with three levels - somewhere in the Settings (I don't recall where), but even then they're not loud at all, and the radio can easily drown them out. This is a minor sore point with me.
