2010 Acadia - A/C problems worse with outside temp increase

Cold driver, hot passenger side. Circulate has to be on and now rear to get cooling when it is NOT hot outside. Checked fuses, cleaned and swapped clutch with horn relay. Rear unit does not blow air or feel cold. I have insurance, but it does not cover sensors, switches, etc. only compresse, condenser, evaporator, blower, clutch, temp control programer, air ducts and orifice tube..When it was working intermittently it worked well, but I plan to check fluide next.. I want to make sure it is something I can fix or low cost before using insurance.
Thanks in advance for any help, Robert

Generally speaking, AC problems are not a DIY type of repair, and often the DIYer does damage rather than good (e.g., overcharging the system). Take it to a pro, would be my advice in this case, since it sounds like more than merely a ducting door being stuck.
