I know this site takes you to Autotrader.com when you click on "find a used car", but is that really the best web site for finding a used vehicle?

....I just wanted to add I know this topic doesn't belong in "News and Views", but there's no option to add a discussion in "Smart Shopper", which is probably where this topic belongs.

I like "cars.com" myself. The list is very simple to look at and can be arranged according to year, miles, or whatnot. The full details appear in a separate window at the bottom of the screen. Just a personal preference though.:D

You may also try carmax.com if there is one in your state.

Craiglist is good if you like looking for old lost causes and newer cars of debatable history

.....that's returned results as good as those I get when using autotrader.com.
