Im looking at getting a honda crv touring 2017(awd) and was quoted $32,599 before taxes? With the 2018 models soon to be released i was hoping for the price to drop a little more...

Blake Member Posts: 63Hello @slapmaxwell1 Thanks for contacting Edmunds! I appraised an AWD Touring in my area using Edmunds True Market Value. Edmunds True Market Value or TMV pricing is a powerful tool that helps shoppers get a good deal on a new or used car. Based on actual sales data. According to TMV the average price paid for that vehicle in my area is $33,781. This would make the dealers offer of $32,599 a very good deal. Please feel free to provide me your zip code. I would be happy to re-appraise the CR-V in your area and give you an updated TMV. Please feel free to use TMV with the link below.

While there will be discounts on the 2017 when the 2018 arrives, I am not 100% sure if they will be better than the current offer you received. The CR-V is all new for 2017 and is selling extremely well. Honda does not have motive to sell them for any less currently.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!Edmunds Car Shopping Advisor

I'm about to finance a 2017 CR-V EX FWD in MD for $22,000 OTD
I'm trading in my car worth $5000 by CarMax (2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited).
Do you think this is a good deal? If I'm doing this right, the TMV is $26,373 (or $28,556.5 if I add taxes + fees), which if I add my trade-in value back in, I would be paying $27,000.
Looks like a good deal, is that right?
Also do you have any idea of the minimum finance rate that I can get at Honda (credit score is 820)? I don't wanna get ripped off during financing
Hi Ferniec- It looks like a very good deal, do you mind sharing the dealer info I will check if they have one for me ? Appreciate it
