any ideas on possible incentives in NJ on 2018 x3. Dealer says they can not talk numbers until Nov 11th. MF? residual on 36/10k?

also, I will be new to BMW lease. Any guestimation on how low monthly of payments BMW could possibly be? with 2k down, 10k, super elite credit tier? I am looking to spend no more than 400-450$/month, is this realistic?

No idea on 2018 numbers.

$400-$450 seems unrealistic, though. Great deals on 2017s, right now.

You have to really, really want the new model, because the 2017 would be at least $100/mo. less

Anyone know what the Driver Assistance and Driver Assistance Plus packages for the 2017 or the 2018 models offer?

Like automatic emergency braking or top down view or self parking?

Heard that the 5-series offers self-parking as an option. But I saw the BMW UK site and they seem to indicate it's available on all models over there. Plus there's a remote control so you can even have it park itself after you got out of the car!

Don't know about the 2018, but our 2017 has pedestrian braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, surround view camera. I think that's it. No self-parking, but it's pretty hard to screw up with all those cameras.

EDIT: Looks like active driving assistant includes a number of things, including lane departure warning. If I get time, I'll get out my owner's manual, and see what all it includes.

Why would residual value % be substantially lower on 18' vs 17'. Would think 18's would have higher value given new model/ year. Is the residual subsidized by BMW on the 17's?

BMW is encouraging their customers to lease the remaining 2017 inventory - this is one way to do that.

When the '17's are gone, will we see a bump in the residual on the '18's?

Nobody knows, but I wouldn't be surprised.

What would be a good deal on an X3 M40i? I was only able to get the dealer down $2200 or about 3.65% below MSRP. I was not given a full breakdown of the numbers, just the discount and monthly payments.

What I found interesting is that I was told that they have a trial program which allows lessees who are currently using MSDs to roll them over to a new lease for a total MF reduction of .00035. Has anyone else heard about BMW bringing MSDs back or this program specifically?

We always suggest you target 7% off MSRP.

If they continue to refuse to be transparent, you might want to work with a different dealer.

I've had one other BMW poster tell us about the revival of the MSD program, but only for current customers who are in a lease with MSD.

And yes, the per MSD discount is now just .00005.

Yes, you want to target 7% off sticker price.

We suggest you roll everything but the first payment and registration costs into the lease payment.

BMW does not offer 7.5K/yr

48/10: 3.29% APR and 44%
60/10: 3.29% APR and 39%

Sales tax rules could vary by state, but the whole point of Select is to put the vehicle in the owner's name, so I'd assume you'll pay full sales tax.

I'd say you have another $1000 to work with on the price.
But, the calculations are correct.
I wouldn't pay tax and acquisition fee upfront, though. You can roll all of that into the CAP cost.
The payment will be higher, but you'd only have first payment plus $230 due at signing.
