I my starter went out and now it won't compression storm

I have a 1994 Mazda pickup truck that I just bought the starter needs to be replaced it was compression starting now it won't what is going on what do I do

    Replace the starter and see what is going on.
    You have to start with the known problems before you can fix the unknown problems.
    You could have an ignition or fuel problem. Hard telling, but you have to have it cranking before you can even make an educated guess.
