heater problem

Hi all

I have 2012 nissan armada 5.6 liter heater problem. When I turn on the heater
only the driver side get hot and other side get cold. I need some one give me advice to fix the problem. I asked mechanic he charges me $800 , I do not have that much money to fix it. Thanks a lot

It is possible that the pass side blend door actuator/dampner (what ever Nissan wants to call it) isn't working.
The mechanic is probably quoting you to replace the actuator, I'm assuming?
If you turn the pass side to heat, do you hear a clicking noise?
