been told by 2 Toyota dealers I just can't replace the rails on my Camry passenger side rail is broken and motor on my 2004 Highlander that I would have to buy complete new sunroofs one dealer told me to take them to a place that installs sunroofs which I did and they are telling me that's not true they will install the parts needed rails for Camry and motor on the Highlander has anyone eles had these issues and what was done to repair them

It sounds like your dealer knows someone else could fix it, just that the dealer will only do a full replacement.
And, the sunroof guy seems to confirm that.
