FCA dealers often use Ally or US Bank to fund leases. Bigger incentives available through those banks. We just don't have access to those numbers to confirm what the base MF is.

The salesperson and finance guy didn't want to give out any information or give me a copy of the worksheet they had all this written on so I just tried to remember what I could. From the info I would guess the CAP cost is $44,380 since they told me they were taking $7,460 off the MSRP and I wasn't paying anything except the first months payment of $599. I'm in Illinois, Dupage county and the tax rate is 7% of the MSRP.

It's entirely possible that everything they say is true.
But, taxes are paid upfront, acq.fee, etc, etc.. Ask for the adjusted CAP cost.

For a car with an MSRP of 48K, what's considered a steal for a monthly lease payment with $2500 OOP for standard fees/etc?

Ended up going to another dealership and putting a deposit on a new lease:

Deal I was able to get was: 444/month with 2500 Out of Pocket + first month payment/DMV = ~$3200 sign off.

That included an extra $500 off for being an employee of company they had on their "list".
