Went today and got an offer of $549/month including taxes for a gs350 f sport. $57,000 msrp. 42 months/7500 miles. Does this seem correct

Generally, 36 months will get you a better payment.

Yes - NorCal and SoCal are in the same region, and share the same numbers.

At this point, I don't see lease deals on the 2018 GS-F

I'm somewhat 'new' to the game, so please be patient.
I've read a TON or articles on here, still a little unclear on a couple nuances.

Here is the offer I have so far:
2018 Lexus GS 350 F Sport
MSRP: 55,665
I have an older GS to trade.....getting 3K for it (not great...but I have 165K miles on it)
Getting 1500 cap cost reduction
+ 2500 Lease cash
Total Cap Cost = 51,300
12K miles/year
48 months @ $541
Residual = 24,870.00

Seems like I need to do better, but what do you all think of the deal so far?
Could use some advice and perspective from more knowledgeable source.

Doesn't look like they are giving you the 47% residual for F-Sport.
Your residual amount looks closer to the 44% for non F-Sport (though, still not exact)

What state/tax rate?

Do you have any money out of pocket, or just the $3000 trade?

The residuals are fixed by the bank. I'd ask about it.
Tell them you thought the F-Sport had a 3% higher residual.

That's about a $35/mo. difference.

Your deal isn't bad.... but, the residual thing needs to be checked on.

Final day of the year lease. I currently have a GS 350 F Sport that is over mileage with 3 lease payments remaining (4 months driving). I can get a new 2018 F Sport with the following:

MSRP 57,160
Cap cost 51,743
Rebate 2,500
Mileage 25k (yes I know, lots of mileage. I'd rather lease than own a car that has 75k on it after 3 years)
Term 39 months
Price 759

He said the money factor and residual are what they are, so he didn't give them to me. If this looks way out of whack, I can push back. They will pick up the 3 remaining payments and he said they will not prorate my total mileage allowed to 53k or so since I terminate 4 months early, so I would be 6k over instead of 13 if they did.

Is there any real rush to do this today?

No idea what changes will come tomorrow, when the new programs are released, but rarely does the residual get better.

I'd ask for the MF, as the dealer can mark that up for extra profit. Residual is fixed by the bank, as are the adjustments for the extra miles.

At .20/mile, the extra 32,500 miles will cost you $6500, or $167/mo. Your "base" payment, then, is under $600/mo, which isn't a bad payment for a $57K car.
