Thanks so much for the information! BTW, we have a 2015 BMW x6 xdrive35i that is currently under lease for 36 months (ends Sept 2018). We want to trade this in and use toward NEW lease for 2018 BMW X6 xdrive35i.

both lease terms have 15Kmiles/yr. New lease still at 36 months.

Was told 2015 BMW x6 has value of $38,500 and payoff estimated by dealer is $46,851, leaving $8,351 in NEGATIVE Equity.

What aspects of the deal can I negotiate at this point?

Any new incentives or discounts for 2018 BMW X6 xdrive35i?

is there any changes for Feb programs? For 36/15 on x6 xdrive35? Also does BMW offer programs for 18K or 20k / year?

Hey guys,

So I have a question. Currently I have a 2015 335 m sport package that I pay $415 a month. My lease is up in about 10 months ($4150), but I have about $3000 in MSDs. I went to my local BMW dealer and they told me there was no equity in the car and I’d have to wait till around 6 months to get the “pull ahead” program or whatever it’s called. 

I then called a BMW dealership further away that a friend of mine from high school works at. He told me he could use my security deposit to cover most of the remaining payment and could give me a 2018 X6 m sport with an MSRP of 76500 for $730 a month with 5k down. 36/10.

Im not sure if it’s a good deal or not but I’ve been looking for x6s for a while and I have never gotten it that low. Am I stupid to turn in my MSDs or is the price of the X6 a great deal that I should just go ahead with it?

Extra miles are charged up front; you'll have to ask the dealer how they are handled.

We've always found that it's best to shop for a car when you need to; ending your lease 10 months early will cost you, in the long run.

If you hold out to the end of the current lease, you can use the MSD monies on the next lease, though the parameters have changed. Only 5 MSDs allowed, with each one dropping the MF by .00005.

And, no way would I drop $5K in up front money on any lease. That's money at risk if the car is stolen or totaled, and it masks the true monthly cost - it's more like $870/mo.

I suspect the deals on the 2018 X6 will be just as good in December as they are now.

They are taking your $3000 to get you out of your lease. That's your money. You aren't stupid, unless you do this...

As far as I heard MSD is dead since May 2017. Are you talking about the area of Northeast that got some sort of grandfathering? Or is this something that is applicable to everyone in the US.
I'm asking as I have 7 MSDs with BMW FS and going to get another lease in a month.

Grandfathering.. We've seen it elsewhere, as well, this past Fall.

We don't have any current information on it, though.
