We don't have any residual information for the 2018 Tacoma, this quarter.

Are they showing up on dealer lots, already?

Toyota updates their residuals quarterly, so the next set of numbers aren't expected until after the first of the year.

They could, however, release updated residuals in December. Just have to wait and see.

Hey Michaell, Yes, starting to trickle in. I believe residual for TRD SPORT dbl cab 36/12 is 73% & 24/12 is 80%. but I don't have MF. I am guessing standard rate may apply.

Still working with the dealer on this, now, they're telling me TRD SPORT dbl cab 36/12 is 68% & 24/12 is 75%. Do you have residuals to confirm?

Hi all. New to the forum. Just closed a deal on a new 2018 Tacoma yesterday. Wanted to see if I did OK. The residual they gave me seems unrealistically high after reading this thread.

Looks like you did well. Florida is in the Southeast Toyota distributor region, and doesn't use TFS for their leases, so the numbers will be different.

Residuals are insane on the Tacoma but the nearly 6% APR (MF) is killing the deal. Hopefully it'll drop substantially in the upcoming months..

Thanks for this. So I went to dealer and they wouldnt give me the MF they were using. But with 1,000k down at signing and residual at 27,040, they quoted me roughly $470 a month.

Vehicle was a 2017, auto with tech package. What would I need to negotiate to get this vehicle down to mid/high 300's? I see everyone getting the best rates around $350-400 a month.

I even tried to do MSDs but they didnt factor it in the quote and wouldnt give it to me. My credit score is roughly 750-770. I am not new to leasing, but never seem to how to use the numbers provided here to negotiate a better deal. Any advice appreciated.
