Brand New Titan needs a wiring harness! Not Happy
Just purchased 2017 Titan SV CC with only @ 300 miles on it was back at the dealer today to address the power drivers seat working sporadically. They gave me a loaner then later in day informed me that they ordered a wire harness to replace the faulty harness. I also discovered that when the seat wouldn't work neither would the rear sliding window, so apparently those are on same harness. They said worst case scenario would be 8 days, because they aren't sure how soon the new harness will arrive. I understand it isn't the dealers fault but it will now be in the shop longer than I have actually owned it. The service guy new I was not happy and was very apologetic. He said I should ask my salesman to throw in a freebie? Has anyone ever had a new car need work immediately after purchasing it and is it normal to ask sales staff for something to offset the inconvenience? I never heard of that so was curious. Thanks

Since you got a loaner for the full time, I'd have to give the dealer credit for that. Sounds like they are trying, and it is understandable that an obscure part like that, for a relatively new car might take a while to dig up.
I think if I were you I'd just take a deep breath and be optimistic that this is just a little bump in the road. If things should drag on, or if the work isn't to your satisfaction, then you can turn up the heat. But as long as the dealer is taking care of you, I wouldn't risk making things adversarial. You could ask them to wash the truck when they deliver it, that would be nice.
