2018 Genesis G80 Leasing cost

All have been recently shopping around to lease a 2018 G80 (premium pkg) AWD and wanted to find what I should be expecting to pay. I walked into a dealership the other day and they told me $629 month with $3500 at signing to cover tax and other fees doc fees. To me this deal doesn't sound right at all unless I'm missing something.

I would appreciate any feedback as this is the first time leasing. In the past I have always bought which is easier to negotiate.

When you get a lease quote, ask for all of the numbers that go into it.
MSRP
Selling price
Adjusted CAP cost
money factor
residual

That way, you'll know what you can, and can't negotiate.

So just went to a dealer in NJ for leasing a 2018 G80 AWD with premium pkg.

selling price: 49150.00
MF = .00036
CAP Cost = 1400
residual = 28277.00

Lease payment $579.00
out of pocket upfront $3860 (includes sales tax,acquisition fee, license, cap cost)

terms 12k /36 months

Is this a good deal or not?  Appreciate the feedback.

Selling price looks very good. The residual is a little low as it should be at the 55% range (54 - 56). Also, the cap cost is a little high.

Calculating the car sale with the following values: MSRP : $55,610.00, Residual %: 55%, Sale price: $49,150.00 Additional fees: $350.00, money factor: 0.00036, should bring your pre tax monthly payment to around $510 to $520 a month. This does include first month payment and security fee and acquisition fee. I hope this helps.

Yes, that is a good deal, though you aren't getting a very big discount from sticker. Use the "Research" tab at the top of the page to see what your target price should be.

We'd suggest you roll your taxes and fees into the payment, and limit your out of pocket to just the first payment and registration costs.

Yes I agree.  They are not taking much off the sticker price.
