$2500 lease credit.

About a 6% discount, before applying the $2500 rebate. That's a decent discount.
If I assume the $2000 covers the first payment, plus FL DMV and the dealer's fee, then add the $925 acquisition fee to the sale price, I get $852/mo.+tax.

That's about $900 total off from their quote.
I'd ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and all of the itemized calculations, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

I asked for the all the numbers upfront and everything rolled into the cost of the truck including the following:

* $899 Dealer Fee
* $925 BMW Financial fee
* $5 tire tax
* $2 lemon tax
* $1.50 battery
* $176.31 electronic fee
* $10 TAG
* $60 lease surchage
* $150 license fee
* $256.62 for tax on deposit ++
Total rolled into lease $2485.43


So the final deal is:

* $2000 down including first month
* 12,000 miles / year
* 36 month lease
* $864 + 7% TAX = $925/month

Is there still room to push them?

$899 for a dealer fee? What do you get for that?

You might be able to get another $10-$25/mo. off..
Just tell them you want to be at $899/mo, with $2000 due at signing, and see what happens. They might say no, but so what?

Hello - Do you have the May MF/Residual numbers for an '18 X6, 36mos/12K per year?
Worked on a deal last night based on April Programs and put a deposit down but want to see if May programs are more favorable as they may not be honest about it.

Current Deal:
X6 M-Sport MSRP = $73,135
MF = .00156
Residual = 58%
36mos/12k per year
Applied $3000 BMW Cash and $500 Corporate Fleet
$3000 Total OOP, $775 per month including NJ Sales Tax
Shopped multiple dealers and nobody came close so think this is a good deal but want to see if May is more favorable.

Why put so much money down on a lease? We recommend just first payment and registration costs.

What is the MSRP?

What is the "other upfront"?

We recommend you only pay the first payment and registration costs up front. Even with the $3000 in incentives, it looks like the dealer is asking for an additional $2800 from you, correct?

The $1329 includes the $925 acquisition fee.
You'll have to ask the dealer what the other $404 is for.
Is this from a NY dealer, or another state?

The payment calculation is correct.

Yeah.. it looks pretty good.
Dealer fees in NJ are unregulated, unlike NY, and that's where the extra fees are coming from

I can guarantee you that the money factor is .00166.

They have said they applied a 7k discount and 3k capital reduction

Monthly of $1176.67 (Base Monthly payment of $987.23 + monthly tax of $59.23 + personal property tax of $130.21

$0 down (other than first payment and fees which total $1,940.94)
State: Kentucky

The monthly payment seems high to me. Any advice on where i would want to be at?

"They have said"? You don't have a document that shows the actual cap cost used in their payment quote?

Without the true numbers, we can only guess at how good or bad this quote is.

The money factor is marked up the maximum from .00166 to .00206.

I've never heard of BMWFS collecting property taxes on a monthly basis in KY, on a lease. And, I live in KY, and have had leases through BMWFS. Not saying it can't happen, I've just never seen it. Although, the monthly amount looks pretty close to correct.

The discount is average. The money factor bump is adding $48/mo. to the payment.

I get $769/mo with those numbers; I adjusted the residual about $650 to account for the demo miles

Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer - I used the $60,576 number from above.
