Can an Acura head unit be replaced?

The 2018 RDX infotainment system is outdated and Acura isn't planning to update the software to include smartphone compatibility. I've always been able to replace a factory stereo with something better, but in this case, I'm not finding compatible units online. Is it even possible to replace the head unit on this vehicle?
