2019 Subaru Ascent Lease Deals and Prices

Looking for help. Central NJ 08854.

I have been shopping a Subaru Ascent, 8 passenger premium trim with cross bars and remote start.

I am getting 61% residual value from all dealers. However, I am getting different MF, ranging from 0.00155 in NJ to 0.00130 in CT.

Is this expected? That CT would have a lower MF/interest rate? Thanks!

.00130 is the base MF; anything higher is just dealer greed.

61% is the 36/12 residual, which is fixed by the bank.

Drove between 70-80 on interstate and then about 55-65 on rural roads and averaged 26.2 mpg on way back home. Simply outstanding....and by the way, if you floor it, this thing will zip past 90 before you realize it.

Also, does anyone think that waiting 1-2-3 months would appreciably change the price?

The dealer didn’t have the vehicle I wanted, so he had to order one for delivery in late Feb which was secured with a $500 deposit. I’m hoping the incentives, MF and residuals are better then so that I can finnagle a good payment.

I ordered a Limited 8-seater with:

- Cargo Tray
- LED Map & Reading Lights
- Rear Seat Back Protector

We will discuss the lease pricing when the vehicle arrives at the dealership -- they cant lock-in the MF/Residual before receiving the vehicle. Hoping Subaru has some incentives running at that time to improve the lease #s.

The agreement you need is to get the base rate money factor. Dealers can mark up the rate by as much as .00050, for extra profit.

Most importantly: from where are these numbers generated? If we tell a dealer we should be getting XYZ% better money factor, where does the "should" statement get its authority from?

The numbers are confidential dealer information from Subaru Motors Finance (leasing bank)

Dealers can't alter the residual, but they can markup the money factor for extra profit.
