Overheating issues
I have a dodge dakota that recently started overheating. I went through the whole cooling system. I repaired the fan clutch ( which was broken), put a new water pump in it, a new radiator, I also put a thermostat in it just to try it. I also had the cooling system drained and flushed. The bad part is that it will still run about 240 when you put the a/c or the heater on. I am at a terrible loss for what the next issue could be. I don't believe it could be the head gasket because the oil does not have antifreeze in it and it does not seem to be smoking like there is coolant being burnt out the exhaust. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I maybe missing?

If that's verified, I would test the coolant for combustion gases using a simple test kit from Autozone or some such.
Oh, does this truck run electric cooling fans as well?
