tranfer case remove

i got a 95 jeep Grand Cherokee laredo, 5.2 motor took off drive line from transfer case to front axle. bearing was bad causing wheels to lock up in front only.couple weeks later the transfer case gos out.loud grinding noise when i put in gear.anyways im trying to save money. so i bought a transmission tail end off a 98 jeep grand cherokee special edition 5.2 motor. is this gonna work remove transfer case and put tail end on it?

    well i was able to put it on.help from a friend.driveline was about 4 inches short(thats what she said),so tomorrow going to junk yard getting drive line off the same jeep i got the tail end off.hopes its longer
