I have a 2007 Jeep Commander that shuts off after it has bee driven for maybe 30 minutes.I took my Jeep to the dealer and explained what was happening. They checked it told they could find no problems but suggested I replace the fuel pump. The fuel pump is new, it was just recently replaced. they could not find a solution but was unable to tell me why the car stalls and shuts off. I am wondering if anyone has seen a recall notice on this vehicle?

Yes, I have that problem, too. It shuts off after about 30 minutes and when I am driving down the freeway at top speed. This is a MAJOR ISSUE with all these Jeep Commanders! THEY SHOULD BE SUED! I am so angry that Jeep doesn't acknowledge this and they have had NUMEROUS complaints about the exact same issue. I bought my 2007 Commander in 2008, with only 8K miles on it. It's been happening ever since, and all I get from the Jeep dealer is the run around. THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth of repair on a vehicle that cost me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to purchase! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK! It is a MAJOR engineering issue that Jeep is ignoring. SO ANGRY!
