I'm just curious, it seems like all the gen9 civic problems with starting are mostly dead battery issues. Is anyone else's civic cranking an trying really hard before it finally starts? It's been really tough for me to start my stupid car lately, sometimes it takes me forever (I had to push start like 6 or 7 times once in July!). Love my car but this is just annoying me

Car's been great this past month until just last weekend. Took 4 GD times and it finally started for me

Has it been to a shop? This could be the result of many different things, so maybe a check for trouble codes would be a good first step.

I finally got it to stutter and mess up at the dealer, I was actually leaving after the tech told me it started fine every time. I went to start my car and it stuttered a bunch, but started the first time. Fortunately the tech was still outside and heard it all go down. They replaced my starter and it's been much better since. It also recently came to my attention that my ex ran my car out of gas, I'm sure that's what started it for me.
