CA rebate $2,500
Costco car member $500.00
Edison rebate $750
Fed tax up to $7,500.
thats before reducing the MSRP on a bargaining table

I think you (or the dealer) applies for those separately, and you get a check from the state and utility.

Can you help me with a 2019 Bolt Premier, MSRP $43,729, 36/10K, zip 95125.
To complicate things, I opted for a single upfront payment. The gross/adjusted capitalized cost was $38,775, residual $24,048, which works out to 62%. Did I calculate this right? Does the dealer get to choose this ratio, or is it set by the leasing company?

With the 9.25% tax which works out to $1,535 and registration fees of $507, the typical fees, and minus a $3,500 rebate, I ended up with a single payment of $15,920. Is there a way I can judge how good of a deal this was?

Was my share of the $7,500 federal credit reflected in the "rebate", or the difference between MSRP and capitalized cost?

OK, makes more sense now. So, does the $3000 customer incentive apply to the top line price, and $3,500 rebate is a separate item that is in lieu of the federal credit?

The money factor was not listed. The Rent charge was $1,877 if that helps

No... evidently they found $3500 of rebates in your area. That would be instead of the $3000 I told you about, not in addition.

Looks like the money factor dropped from .00156 to around .00085 or so, to account for the single-pay lease

Since it's zero due at signing, you have to roll the first payment into the CAP cost (add it to the net price).
Doing that, I get $504/mo+tax. I don't know your state or tax rate, but that could be pretty close

You should negotiate your best price, then deduct the $3000 incentive.

You don't get the tax credit, as you aren't the owner of the vehicle - the bank is.

Exactly.. It's a GM Financial to consumer rebate, that is applied as a CAP cost reduction.
