I have a 1999 Honda Civic Sedan and I’m just curious how long will my car last? I keep up with all the maintenance of the car. I got it at 40,000 miles and I’m about to hit 50 soon.
It'll last as long as you want to put money into it--but if you mean how long without major rebuilding, then there's no reason why it couldn't run up to 175K--225K miles.
Of course, the older it gets, and more miles you add, the more it's going to cost you per-mile to keep it going. At onlly 50K miles you don't have to deal with things like suspension, brakes, alternator, AC compressor, broken door locks, and all that---but you will once you start to double that mileage.
