Car won't accelerate

recently I was driving my 2015 Fit and all of a sudden the pedal when to the floor and would not accelerate. It also appearred that when this originally happened the gear went to N on its own. When I shifted the automatic transmission after this incident the gears registered but the gas pedal still went to the floor and wouldn't accelerate at all. Anyone have any idea what this could be? check engine light is on and so is the VSA and steering warning lights

    You can possibly go to an Autozone or OReilly's or some such and borrow a code reader. If you had a code, that would at least give us a start on making a guess.
