Drain on system after charging when shut off?

Need an ammeter to put in line with the main positive cable or to loop around it to read small rates of drain.

Then remove main fuses one at a time until that drain level stops. Then track down drain on subcircuits of that main fuse.

Don't forget to remove power line to starter and alternator. Those have sometimes caused drains.

Not sure exactly how to tell if I have a drain. Car off take ampmeter to where?
