Hey all,

I am in the process of selling a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The car is in excellent shape overall, with just some normal wear and tear. However, one of the most noticeable defects is a crack in the plastic trim around the driver side rear wheel:

My question is: is this worth fixing before trying to sell the car? I am going to look into selling it to either a dealer or through a private sale. The car is worth between $8,500 and $10,000. My guess is the repair would cost around $200-300. Let me know your thoughts!

if it is only the mud guard, remove it (3 screws total) and see what is damaged underneath. if it is not damaged, remove the other side mud guard. They are not necessary.

Thanks! Is this something that can be fixed on my own? I looked at the cost for replacements and it looks pretty cheap.
