Hatch Window Fails Intermittently, Tied to Toggling Door Locks!

I was driving on the interstate and my door locks began toggling on their own - and while that happened, my back hatch window lowered on its own and was locked in the down position. After a time, the window started working again, but then would fail again.

This has now happened on several occasions.

I also believe that the key locks are not working, but the keyless entry is working ok.

Bracing for cost shock at Toyota Service. Any ideas?

You know, whenever a car becomes "possessed" with multiple, bizarre behavior, the first thing I suggest to people is to check the condition of the battery, the cables, and the health of the charging system.

Another common cause is a break in the wiring harness as it threads between the body and the door.
