Heating Issue

Do not buy a 2017 or 2018 Honda CRV. Since the engine never reaches or maintains normal operating temperature the cars heater/defroster does not work either. Honda is aware of the problem but is doing nothing for the owners that are complaining. According to the dealer and American Honda the car is operating normally. It's not. The windshield is nearly impossible to clear, the heater blows cold at stop lights, and the remote start is worthless. Do not buy one of these cars until Honda fixes the issue! Buy a Toyota or a Subaru they at least stand behind their cars. Our 2018 CRV has less than 2,000 miles and already a problem!

Does this apply to the 2019 LX? Every one is citing issues with the CRV like gasoline in oil, dead batteries etc. But, the trim is never identified.

It is only the turbo engine that seems to be a problem. The LX doesn't have the turbo

Does the heating and dead battery issue also only apply to turbo?

I don't have any anecdotal info on that.
