Hey,

New to buying a new vehicle. Not sure if i'm getting a good deal. Zip is 97035 a state with no sales tax.

2019 Rav4 Hybrid XSE
including weather, technology, and entune package with roof rack.

MSRP 38,094.
Price they went down to is 35,600 total after fees
The above price does not include the rebates (1k for finance and 500 off for student grad) So I think it would actually be 34,100.

Option to add on an extended warranty for $2.2k I believe an additional 72mo/75k (should I do this?)

Thoughts? Also should I really be buying new or waiting a year? I don't think I can lease b/c I'm assuming I will go over milage. I'm new to the state and want to explore.

Thank you!

We don't track pricing, but you can research it, here:

Do you want to wait, because the RAV4 is a new model, and you think it will be less popular, a year later?

That's possible. Also, no point in buying a car, before you need it.

Thanks! I am borrowing my current car, so I will have to be buying new or used either way.

Your price doesn't seem out of line, but do some research, and shop competing dealers.
It does seem that you need a car, sooner rather than later, but with a $35K budget, you have a lot of options.

Definitely do not lease, if you can't stay under 15K/yr mileage.
