Outside Temp display frozen on 2017 V6 Touring Model

Wondering if anyone has run into this situation. The outside temp readout on the dash is now "frozen" and will not move up or down. I noticed the issue right after I washed the car. I looked online to see if the sensor could be reset or restart it, but I can't find anything on the issue. The vehicle still is under warranty, so if it is a sensor I will take it to the dealer. Right now it is stuck on 70 degrees and not moving. Any ideas? My thanks in advance for any help.
