2012 Q5 Cold Engine hesitates to shift from 1 to 2 and in warm engine kicks when coming to stops.

I have 2012 Q5 2.0 T. It's been having the not so smooth Transmission since we bought it 2 years ago when it had only 45k mileage. There are thousands of such cases with these Audis and still the company hasn't issued any recalls.
In Cold Engine it hesitates to shift from 1 to 2 and in warm engine kicks while coming to a stop. I asked the dealer if changing the ATF would take care of the problem and they said No.
Is there an easy solution to this ?
