Super! Thank you. It seems like its low on fluid- do you know what fluid type it takes?

Are you experiencing any issues with your brakes? Is your brake pedal feeling "mushy"? The fluid is brake fluid. There should be a MIN line on the master cylinder. If the fluid is at or above that line, you don't need to add any. If it's below the MIN line, you would carefully take off the cap and add brake fluid until it's just under the MAX line. You don't want to overfill it.

But again, are you experiencing any issues with your brakes? Just the way you asked, it sounds like you noticed a fluid that was low (which is a good thing to notice) but you weren't clear about what the fluid is, but you felt like you needed to add some.

No issues with the brakes yet - but noticed that I couldn't see any fluid in there. I'll check again and top it off with brake fluid. Thanks again.

If you can see the fluid level, you should be able to add brake fluid without having to worry about bleeding the brakes.

Do you notice any leaks under the car? If the reservoir is completely empty, and the brake pedal feels spongy, you may have a leak in the brake system or air in the brake lines and you'd need to bleed the brakes to get the air out.
