AC Not Holding Climate Settings

All,

I have a 2011 Nissan Maxima, the AC works fine. When I turn on the car, the AC is off, we turn it on, no problem. When I turn off the car, and then turn the car back on, I have to manually turn the AC back on. How can I get the AC to remain on when I turn the car off and on.

Looking in the owner's manual(page 4-41), it looks like there's an Auto button you should be able to press.
