Drove the day before fine. Next morning no forward or reverse. Anyone have this problem? 3 fuse boxes, 1 or 2 transmission plugs, there's a module on top of motor. What do I do to get it running no money to take to retailer. 2001 Ford Taurus runs great no pre warning on transmission. Can anyone help?

Could be a torque converter problem, solenoid, clutches, gears... you could check the fluid level to see if it's low and/or dirty, but beyond that, I think you're going to need someone who knows how to diagnose/repair transmission issues.

I have the same problem on my 2000 olds intrigue. No prior problem. Just stop engaging into any gear

I have a 99 ford Taurus 3.0 oh v. I was driving home and had to slow down to make my turn into the subdivision I live in. I pressed the throttle after making my turn and out of no where its like it was stuck in nuetral. No slipping or any kind of noise. No check engine light. It doesnt engage in reverse or any forward gears. I replace the tr sensor. Still nothing. I have the front end on jack stands. With the car in nuetral I turn one tire and the other doesnt move. I thought since its a limited slip you turn one tire and the other would turn the opposite way. It dont do that with the tranny in nuetral. With the tranny in park the passenger side tire locks up like it should but I can still turn the drivers side front tire but its not to easy. Its not extremely hard to do but you just cant grab it and give it a good spin. It does not make any grinding sound or anything when I do this. Any ideas?
