The display on the climate control panel (and clock ) are unreadable in normal daylight. They are readable just fine at dusk till dawn. I can not find any adjustment procedure in the manual.

I had that setup on my 2015 Limited. My guess was that it is not set to automatic. Probably set to night, or the brightness level is set way down. But the instructions above cover the 2 places to check.

Thanks. It answered my question, but the display is still not bright enough to see on a sunny day.

@Philberg Is part of it the geometry of it all? In my Nissan Rogue, the backup camera is set to about the highest brightness/contrast, but in the middle of a sunny day it's almost impossible to see. The screen is angled just back from vertical and the sun shines down through the windshield right on the display. I've considered sticking a piece of plastic in the CD slot to provide shade :)
