interior lights on dashboard stay on for a couple of minutes and goes off

speed odometer lights come on for a couple of minutes an goes back off an wont come back on unless i stop the car an turn it off an start the car back up

    Do the lights only come on when you turn on parking/headlights? Might be a problem with that switch

    Have you tried checking all the fuses?
