2013 Grand Cherokee - Noise/won't start after oil cooler replacement

So I just finished replacing the oil cooler/filter housing to address a pretty bad oil leak. I'm no mechanic, but I felt pretty good about putting everything back together. I cleaned the throttle body and replaced the intake manifold gaskets, trying to make sure I torqued the intake manifold as evenly as possible (didn't have a torque wrench and don't think I could've fit one in there). When I tried to restart it, noises resembling hammered hell came from the engine compartment, so I immediately shut it back off. I looked over everything again and couldn't see any obvious issues. I decided to try cranking again, and on the second try, it just continually tried to start, but would never fully crank. Not sure what to start checking from here. I'm thinking misalignment of the intake manifold (not sure that would keep it from starting) or maybe I damaged one of the injector wires while removing the manifold. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

2016 Grand Cherokee, changed oil cooler , and when starting after replacing intake gaskets, hammering in engine now won’t start, started once, ran rough, any solutions, did torque per sequence and order
