Lease Calculations

I am looking for an accurate leasing calculator. I have seen the one here https://www.edmunds.com/calculators/car-lease.html and bankrate.com but they don't seem to produce the same output.

I am looking at and RDX lease 36/12. I have seen some some great discounts / incentives but when I go into the dealer to get the deals, it seems like their numbers don't quite add up. I have a basic understanding of the math behind a lease and have used a couple of lease calculators but here is an example:

I am looking at single lease payment so MF is lower

Bankrate
MSRP - 38595
Discounted with Invcentives 30708
Sales Tax in San Diego - 7.75%
36 months
.60 residual
MF - .00135
My calculations and leasing calculators show single lease payment around 10944 + fees.

Edmonds

sales price 38595
Cash Incentives 7887
Residual 60
MF .00135
total payments 10152

When the dealership shows me these numbers, the quotes are about 14k. One was 12.8k.

Based on prior transactions, I know fees will be about 1k but without a good reference point, I can't really tell if dealers are giving me straight information or not.


Can anyone give me a good reference calculator for Acura leases?

Applying sales tax to the single-pay amount, the Bankrate calculator looks pretty close.

Don't forget to add acquisition fee ($925) and DMV/doc fees (approx $525)
Verify with the dealer that their sale price is valid with the lease program.
