Does it make sense to buy after lease?

I have a 2017 A4 Premium Plus, S-Line, with 33k miles. Includes cold weather package. At the time, side view warning was an option, and I have that. Residual is $28k and the car is pristine. It's a little above market from a dealer. Does buying out the lease include CPO or is that an extra fee? Does it make sense to buy after the lease end? 60563 zip code.

No, CPO is not included on a buyout. Also, AFS is under no obligation to provide financing for your buyout (though, it may be offered)

Any buyout decision should be made solely on value. If the buyout price is above retail asking price at the dealer for a similar vehicle, that should tell you it's a bad deal. The fact that you lease the car now shouldn't enter into your decision.
