Indicators, wipers and front lights not working

I have a 2001 Audi TT and 2 weeks ago the indicators, wipers, horn and front lights stopped working.
The hazards still work.
Googling this, I came across some sites that suggested it was the Onboard Power Supply Control Module Unit. When trying to find a part number however, Audi have told me that this only came with cars 2004 onwards.
I found a comment on a different forum where someone had the same issue, with the same car. Apparently after much fault finding their mechanic replaced the ignition relay.
I have the Haynes manual and tried to locate the ignition relay, but there doesn't seem to be one - unless it is called something else.
I have now purchased the OBDEleven diagnostics, it struggles to connect, but after 3 attempts it did. Did not find any faults however .... so that was a waste of money!
I am not willing to take it to Audi at £120 p/h to attempt to find the problem. The car is not worth spending too much on, so I am trying to sort it myself

Any one have any ideas?

Did you get schematics for the systems that aren't working? The horns, wipers, and front lights share circuits in the fuse panel at the left end of the dash and they also share ground G111 under the battery tray. Which indicators are you referring to? The turn indicators in the dash? Those do not share that same ground, but by chance are they glowing but not fully on when they shouldn't be on at all?
