Although, the dealer argues with me that they cannot give me that deal price because it is only for cars of $34,345 MSRP... I doubt that is true because nobody has cars with that pricing. The car I'm interested in has an MSRP of $41,570 and their lease price quote was $629 giving a down payment of $6,000. That to me doesn't add up or make sense.
If someone could clarify it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, as the MSRP goes up, so will the payment. But, the payment is largely determined by the discount you can negotiate. What is the selling price associated with the $629/mo quote?
That stuff in the ad about "dealer contribution"? That's a fancy name for "discount from MSRP".

But, if that payment quote includes taxes and fees, then it could be a reasonable payment quote, as you pay taxes on the entire selling price in Texas, even for a lease
