Help am i in the wrong???

ok so i am looking to lease a 2020 ram 1500 crew cab long horn or whatever its called i MSRP is 42230 with dealer discounts and sale incentives price is 35017 with conditional incentives price is 32265. according to them crysler capital residual is 48%. putting depreciation/payoff at end of loan to be 20,270. if sale price is 32265 minus what its worth at end of loan 20270 equals what i am responsible for during the term of the lease at 11995 divided by 36 months is 333 pre tax, why is the dealership wanting 519 a month pre tax??

oh and MF is .00003

Short answer: It's likely that the price quoted is for a purchase, and the price for a lease is higher.
Also, you'll have fees and a small amount of finance charge (since the money factor is so low), and of course, 7% sales tax added to the payment.

its big horn 4x2, my math is showing $333. the dealer is wanting 519 a month lease 12000 miles at 42 months

Can you post a screen shot of "your math"?

And, if you can get the dealer to share their worksheet with you, to compare, that would be great, too.

Ask the dealer for the selling price and adjusted CAP cost on the lease. I'll guess that will make everything clear. I doubt you can get the quoted price, along with a Chrysler Capital lease.
