Leasing out of state

I think i have accomplished a pretty good final price for a Lincoln Corsair. When I finally asked for lease numbers with the numbers I was given on this forum they said the just remembered they don"t do out of state leases.. I would be leasing in Texas and living in Louisiana. Is this true or are they trying to back out of our agreed price? Thanks!

    It's possible that Lincoln does impose this restriction.

    Any reason why you didn't lead off the conversation by stating you wanted to lease?

    To get a better deal on the price of the car. I called around and other Texas lincoln dealers do out of state leases. I really just think I got a good price and they were going to make it up in the financing numbers. Very disappointing!
