Well sweet Jesus almighty, I pulled a 10a fuse, went to replace it, wasn't sure why the fuse didn't go in fully, and then realized the old fuse's prongs had broken off and I quite possibly pushed them even further back into the panel.
Suggestions? I have no visual of the prongs...

Fuse panels today are typically mutlilayer devices that can be (carefully) taken apart and put back together. Occasionally when something like this happens that's exactly what a tech might need to do to fix this. It can be tedious if not flat out difficult and the time and cost to do it needs to be judged against the cost of a replacement fuse block. Was corrosion a factor in this happening?

An alternative solution might be to relocate the fuse external of the fuse block assembly.
