Yes, all makes and models are short of inventory, with the chip issues. No real good deals out there, based on what members are reporting.

Relative to MSRP, that's a decent payment, however. The MSDs certainly help.

The $2761 drive off includes
- $995 Acquisition Fee
- $500 Dealer Fee
- $700 Gov fee
- $561 First Month Payment
- $5 deposit

Taxes are 6.63% and levied upfront on total lease payment ($22,029) in NJ. I assume taxes are rolled into monthly payment. Would be willing to wait for better deals in May or June but concerned it will get worse before it get's better. Let me see if I can get the adjusted cap cost..

Cap_cost = sales_price - lease_bonus
Depreciation = Cap_cost *(1-RV) /36
Interest = Cap_cost * (1+RV) * MF
Tax = (Depreciation + interest) * tax_rate
Monthly pay= Depreciation + Interest + tax

The lease bonus is a Volvo to dealer incentive, and will be part of any sale price offered. So, nothing to deduct from the CAP cost.

In NY, you calculate the total tax, then add it to the CAP. So, even though it's based on the payments, it is collected upfront.
