NY taxes the sum of the payments, any non-govt fees, incentives and cap reduction (down payment). The state collects this money up front.

This doesn't look like a Chrysler Capital lease.

Then bank fee for CC is $595 (possible markup to $895).

I wonder if this is Ally, USBank or a local credit union?

The MSRP doesn't determine the tax amount. It is the total of payments. (monthly payments, plus customer down payments, plus rebates applied as CAP cost reductions)

I'm not sure that clarification will help you, if it's a broker. If you don't shop multiple dealers, then you get what you get.
