Does using a liquid gasket/ sealant on a blown head gasket void an aftermarket warranty?

Say hypothetically I use stopleak on a blown head gasket and it works. Then a few months later engine fails. Will that have voided most 3rd party warranties? If it commonly does void a warranty, how would the warranty company detect a sealant was used?

The biggest thing about 3rd party warranties, which are better referred to as a mechanical insurance policy instead of a warranty is they are usually a poor investment for the majority of the people who buy them. They are often viewed as the equivalent of a Ponzi scheme. Yes, in the beginning some people do okay with getting assistance for some repairs. By the time reality hits for most of the consumers who purchased policies the company is usually headed into bankruptcy. Using a stop leak should never be considered a repair even in the odd chance that it works for someone. If the policy was truly worth the investment you should have tried to have the correct repair performed instead of resorting to the attempt at the band-aid. Either way it's far more likely they will refuse to perform what you might think should be a covered repair for any number of reasons before they ever concern themselves with a stop leak chemical.
