Exactly. The dealer has an extra $1750 to play with.

If I leave them a $250 profit, is it strong to offer $40,850. Essentially taking another $1500 off their price?

I'm sure the dealer has factored in any money they have coming, on any price they list. That price could be based on a purchase incentive that is actually greater than the lease incentive. I wouldn't automatically assume they have $1750 more room off of that price.
