Is this a good deal for a 2021 CX-5 GTR Lease?

Hi there,

Could you please advise on the following deal offered by a dealer? I have told the dealer to calculate it with no downpayment. This is for 10k/36 lease.

I am in the California, ZIP 94610.

Should I try to negotiate the sale price?
Are there any fees I should not be paying?

Thanks

I agree with the math, but what hurts you is the average lease program and only $1000 off the MSRP.

The CX-5 has never really leased all that well.

    I know I wouldn't spend $500+ each month on a $36K SUV.

I see. Appreciate your opinion. What would you suggest?

I am not married to the CX-5 idea although I really like the car. Do you think I should try to knock a couple k's off the price or look at other options like Lexus RX 350 instead (do those lease better)?

You should test drive what you're interested in, then figure out the lease deals.

At the moment, the best leasing SUV I'm aware of is the Acura RDX.

Thanks for the tip. So in between that lease offer on the CX-5 and this one below on the RDX you think the RDX is a better deal in terms of the numbers?

Yes, the RDX is a better deal. But, you may be able to beat that quote with some competitive shopping, or by leasing a 2020 model
