Ordering a Truck (Lease) to wait for better incentives/payments?
Chrysler Capital won't allow us to extend our current lease that is due without a new order number for FCA. So with payments about 30% higher then our current lease I'll either turn it in and go down to one vehicle or place an order to extend the time with our current vehicle. I was hoping for some insight with the ordering/negotiating process and how changing incentives/MF/residuals are handled (time of order or at delivery?). Also, what is the obligation to the leasee, in a case where they wanted to back out due to lack of incentives/high payments or decide to lease a different vehicle that is on the lot due to favorable incentives while the truck on order is in the process of being built.? I've done about 15 Chrysler employee leases in the past but never an order and have always had pretty great lease deals going directly though the internet salesperson using multiple dealers over the years. The truck being ordering wouldn't be anything special or unusual and being from Detroit (48310) I have around 10 dealers that are all pretty close. Anything I'm missing here? I'm just looking for a good payment on a 20 or 21' BH V8 Short 4x4...and it looks like my luck with relatively low lease 24/12 or 36/12 leases has run out. Any help is appreciated, thanks for your time!

I suspect one of those 10 dealers can provide some clarity on this.
